Jean SANGALLY is unquestionably one of the French bluesmen the more talented of the end of the XXIème siècle.

At the age of three, he decides to start guitar while listening to the old guitar singer NZIE CROMWEL.

Alchimie of the kinds from which spring up his music, Jean Sangally was born to Cameroon from where he received his inspiration, mix of rythms and melodies so important in the African continent.

His long stay in Europe gave him plenty of time to learn western music's. You will find in his style all his cultural influences.

Jean Sangally is, with no doubt, one of the best specialist of French Blues. It returns the same emotions and them same shivers that the facts more big American bluesmens.

Today, Jean Sangally sing his own songs. His themes d’inspiration talk about the daily, evenings between friends, of the meet fugaces for sometimes to leave in are “delirious”.

Playing together since 1993 the musicians of Jean Sangally Blues Band are among the best availlable :

  - Drums :

   * George BROWN, former drumer of Miles Davis et Wes Montgomery.
  
* James LEWIS, played with Winton Marsallis, Ray Charles and Sonny Rollins.
  
 * Davyd JOHNSON of Chicago, who played saxophone with Luther Allison.

Surrounded by remarkable musicians, this artist to the three cultures (Africa – France - New World) delivers us to each of his spectacles a music in three dimensions. Between nostalgia and smile, the music of Jean Sangally lulls, moves, gives the shiver or desire to dance while flirting with the kindness.
